DescriptionBlack painted wooden bat, 32 ounces, with "Louisville Slugger / 125 / Powerized" in the center of the barrel, an MLB logo to the right of this and "Genuine M356 / Jorge Posada (facsimile signature) / New York Yankees" near the end of the barrel. "Jorge Posada 4/23/00" is handwritten in silver ink below this inscription. Handle is taped in a criss-cross pattern.
Bio/Historical NoteBat used by Jorge Posada of the New York Yankees on April 23, 2000 to hit two home runs, one from each side of the plate. Bernie Williams also recorded switch hit home runs in the same game, making them the first teammates in big-league history to homer from each side of the plate in the same game.
