DescriptionNatural stain wooden bat with "Louisville Slugger / 125 / Powerized" in the center of the barrel and "Genuine P89 / Gary Carter (facsimile signature) / Louisville Slugger" near the end of the barrel. Knob end has "8" handwritten in black ink.
Bio/Historical NoteBat used by Gary Carter of the Montreal Expos during the 1981 All-Star Game at Cleveland Stadium on August 9th. Carter hit a pair of home runs and took home MVP honors in the National League's 5-4 victory. The Expos catcher was the last player to homer twice in the Midsummer Classic.
