DescriptionNatural stain wooden bat, 32 ounces, with "Louisville Slugger / 125 / Powerized" in the center of the barrel and "Genuine C235 / Gary Gaetti (facsimile signature) / Chicago Cubs" near the end of the barrel. Bat is autographed "Gary Gaetti 9-28-98" in blue ink between the center trademark logo and the lettering near the end of the barrel. Both the knob end and barrel end tip have "8 C235" handwritten in blue ink.
Bio/Historical NoteBat used by Gary Gaetti of the Chicago Cubs to hit a home run in the game between the Chicago Cubs and San Francisco Giants on September 28, 1998, a one game play-off when both teams finished the season in a tie for the Wild Card spot for the 1998 National League Divisional Playoffs. The Cubs won the game.
