DescriptionGold Cincinnati Reds 1975 World Series championship ring given to Commissioner Bowie Kuhn. The ring has a rounded, rectangle face featuring a diamond-shaped diamond set in red stone and surrounded by a raised border. The outer part of the border reads "Cincinnati Reds 1975" while the inner reads "World Champions." One arm has an image of the World Series trophy with "Cincinnati Reds 1975 World Champions - Reds 4 Red Sox 3" underneath it. The other arm has "Kuhn" above an image of Riverfront Stadium with "Big Red Machine" in it.
Bio/Historical NoteThe Cincinnati Reds defeated the Boston Red Sox four games to three to win the 1975 World Series. Bowie Kuhn served as Major League Baseball's fifth commissioner from 1969 to 1984, and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2008.
