McGraw and Hornsby are both dressed in the New York Giants road uniform. An unidentified baseball player is visible standing behind McGraw in the background. A few baseball fans are visible in the unidentified stadium seating in the background. A caption written on the back of the photograph (not shown) reads, "John Joseph McGraw (R) w/ Rogers Hornsby." Based on McGraw and Hornsby's uniforms and their time with the New York Giants this photograph was taken in approximately 1927.
