DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of George Sisler captured sliding into third base. Sisler has a strained expression on his face as he tries to beat the opposing player to the base who is captured tagging Sisler on the leg with his baseball glove. Sisler is dressed in a St. Louis Browns uniform but it is indistinguishable whether or not it is a home or road uniform. Unidentified baseball players are visible on the field in the background. An unidentified stadium is visible in the background. Based on Sisler's uniform and his time with the Browns, this photograph was taken between 1915 and 1926.
