DescriptionNatural stain wooden bat, 32 ounces, with "R / Rawlings / Adirondack / Made in USA" in the center of the barrel and "Big Stick / Tino Martinez / Yankees" in black lettering near the end of the barrel. There is a blue painted stripe around the taper of the barrel directly to the left of the center trademark logo. Knob end has "24" handwritten in black ink and "456B / 387 01" inscribed in the center. There is also some illegible handwritten lettering in blue ink on the knob end.
Bio/Historical NoteBat used by Tino Martinez of the New York Yankees during Game 4 of the 2001 World Series to hit a ninth inning, game-tying, two-out home run against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Diamondbacks defeated the Yankees, four games to three, to win the Series.
