Right to left are: Fresco Thompson, who is reliably reported to be ready to step into Branch Rickey's shoes as general manager; Dodger president Walter O'Malley; and E.J. (Buzz) Bavasi, General Manager of the Dodgers Montreal Farm Team, who would step up into the post of Thompson's assistant." Based on the caption this photograph was taken on November 1, 1950.
