DescriptionNatural stain wooden bat, 32.5 ounces, with a red painted stripe around the taper, "Rawlings / Adirondack / Pro Ring" in the center of the barrel and "Big Stick / Mike Schmidt / Professional Model" near the end of the barrel. "20" is handwritten on the knob end in black ink along with "32 1/2" also handwritten in black ink and "154A / 166" imprinted in the center.
Bio/Historical NoteBat used by Mike Schmidt of the Philadelphia Phillies to hit his 536th career home run on June 17, 1988 off Dwight Gooden of the New York Mets. This tied Mickey Mantle's record on the all-time home run list.
