Cleffie Fennar glove

DescriptionDark brown leather glove with four finger stalls and a thumb stall. The forefinger and thumb stalls are connected by leather webbing. Palm side bottom edge is lined with metal grommets and leather laces.

Bio/Historical NoteGlove used by Cleffie Fennar between 1931 and 1940, when he played in the Negro Leagues. Fennar played for the New York Black Yankees, Brooklyn Royal Giants, Cuban Stars, Penn Red Caps, and Bacharach Giants during his Negro Leagues career (circa 1930-1940).
