Bio/Historical NoteOn August 1, 1986, Twins pitcher Bert Blyleven became the 10th member of the 3,000-Strikeout Club when Oakland's Mike Davis swung at and missed this ball, a 1-2 curveball in the fifth inning of a 10-1 Minnesota win.
