DescriptionBlack leather and nylon high top shoes, size 9 1/2, with black laces through fabric loops and white manufacturer logos on both the inner and outer sides. Tongues have "7" embroidered in gold at the top. Undersides of the tongues have manufacturer tags with size, model and material information. Both shoes are signed in gold ink on the outer side of the heel. Heels have "Biggio / 7" embroidered in gold with fabric loops at the top ankle. Interiors are black with white insoles. Bottom soles are black and white plastic with small raised cleats and six metal spikes.
Bio/Historical NoteShoes worn by Craig Biggio of the Houston Astros during the 1997 season. Biggio became the first right-handed batter in Major League history to play the entire season and not ground into a double play.
