DescriptionGray and red leather shoes, size 12 1/2, with red laces and white manufacturer logos on both the inner and outer sides. Left shoe has additional rubber toe reinforcement. Tongues are red with a manufacturer logo in white at the top. Interior undersides of the tongues have manufacturer labels. Heels have red manufacturer logos and "41" in red below. Insoles are black with silver manufacturer logos. Bottom soles are red plastic with nine metal spikes and gold manufacturer logos on the heels. Left shoe has "584" handwritten on the bottom in silver ink.

Bio/Historical NoteShoes worn by Boston Red Sox pitcher Chris Sale on September 20, 2017 against the Orioles in Baltimore. Sale struck out 13 batters in the game, reaching 300 strikeouts on the season. He became the first American League pitcher to reach the 300-strikeout plateau since Pedro Martinez in 1999.
