DescriptionCap with maroon side and rear panels and two orange front panels with "VT" embroidered in white and edged in metallic gold and silver thread. Rear of the cap has "Hokies" embroidered in white with metallic orange edging. Underside of the bill is maroon and the interior sweatband is black at the front and maroon at the sides and rear. "One Size" is embroidered at the front of the interior sweatband. There are manufacturer logos on either side where the black portion of the sweatband ends. There is a manufacturer label at the rear of the interior sweatband, "Top of the World / TOW / On Top and Climbing / Collegiate Licensed Product / US Patent 6892398," with a tag on the inner side of the sweatband behind this with material information and care instructions.
Bio/Historical NoteCap worn by Chris Snelling of the Washington Nationals on April 17, 2007. The entire Nationals team wore these caps as a tribute to the victims of the on-campus shooting at Virginia Tech on April 16, 2007.
