Trevor Hoffman 500th Career Save glove

DescriptionBlack leather left-handed glove with four finger stalls and a thumb stall. Connecting the thumb and forefinger stalls is a T-shaped piece of leather with two hinged leather pieces on either side to create a complete webbing. Finger stalls are connected at the tips with criss-cross leather laces. Palm side of the glove has vertical lacing up the pinky, forefinger and thumb stalls with more lacing across the heel. "A2000" and "Wilson" are stamped into the palm and "Pro-Stock" and "XL" are stamped on the thumb stall. "Dual Hinge" is stamped vertically on the interior of the webbing. Back side of the glove has an opening at the base of the finger stalls with a wrist strap below. The wrist strap fastens with a knotted leather lace. There is a black and yellow oval "Wilson" patch on the top of the wrist strap and the underside of the wrist strap is padded. "Trevor Hoffman" is embroidered in orange on the back side of the thumb stall with an MLB Authentication hologram sticker below. At the base of the thumb stall is a black and yellow embroidered manufacturer logo. There is a small black and yellow embroidered manufacturer logo on the back side top of the webbing. "A2000" is embroidered in yellow along the side. There is a red, white and blue MLB logo at the base of the pinky stall on the back side. "500" is embroidered in orange on the back side interior beneath the wrist strap near the thumb stall.
Bio/Historical NoteWearing this glove on June 6, 2007, Trevor Hoffman of the San Diego Padres became the first pitcher to record 500 career saves when he preserved a 5-2 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
