The House That Ruth Built helmet

DescriptionOfficial MLB black plastic batting helmet, size 7 1/2, embellished with three-dimensional objects and elements depicting and celebrating New York City and the history of the New York Yankees. Artist's renderings of buildings, Yankee Stadium's facade and logos and names of Yankee players are attached to the outside of the helmet with raised adhesive dots. Underside of the bill is signed in silver marker, "History of the Yankees / 1923 - 2008 / Charles Fazzino / 2008." Interior of the helmet has a "Rawlings" logo, sizing information, an MLB licensing sticker and a warning label.
Bio/Historical NoteBatting helmet art piece, entitled "The House That Ruth Built" by Charles Fazzino, embellished with three-dimensional objects and elements depicting and celebrating New York City and the history of the New York Yankees. It was designed to commemorate the final season of Yankee Stadium in 2008.
