DescriptionRed leather and nylon shoes, size 13, with red laces and three white stripes on both the inner and outer sides. "Diamond King" is inscribed on one of the outer stripes. There is an MLB Authentication hologram sticker on the outer side of the right shoe and on the inner side of the left shoe. There is silver detailing around the ankle portions and upper heels. Heels have "28" handwritten in black ink towards the bottom and a manufacturer logo in silver above. There are also two circular red mesh panels on the heels. Bottom soles are black and gray plastic with seven metal spikes.
Bio/Historical NoteShoes worn by Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Jayson Werth during the 2008 World Series, pacing the Phillies with eight hits, three doubles, and three stolen bases to go with a .444 batting average. The Phillies defeated the Tampa Bay Rays four games to one to win the 2008 World Series.
