Miguel Cabrera World Baseball Classic helmet

DescriptionRed plastic batting helmet, size 7 1/2, with a white and gold "V" decal on the front and a proper left side ear protector. Rear center has a white "24" decal as well as a manufacturer sticker and a World Baseball Classic sticker. Proper right side has a World Baseball Classic logo and a "movilnet" decal. Underside of the bill has embossed lettering. There is gray foam padding at the interior crown, ear protector and rear. Interior crown has stickers including MLB registration, sizing, a manufacturer logo and a warning label.

Bio/Historical NoteHelmet worn by Miguel Cabrera of the Detroit Tigers while representing his home country of Venezuela during the 2009 World Baseball Classic from March 5, 2009 through March 23, 2009. The team placed third and Cabrera batted .190 with three RBI in the tournament. Japan emerged victorious for the second straight Classic, winning the final game 5-3 in ten innings.
