Joe Mauer 2000th Career Hit helmet

DescriptionNavy blue plastic batting helmet, size 7 5/8, with a proper right ear protector. Front has a white and red rubber "TC" logo decal while the rear has an MLB logo and a red "7" sticker above. There are six ventilation holes at the top of the helmet and two in the ear protector. Interior has padding along the sweatband, at the top crown, along the proper right ear guard and at the rear. Interior crown has several stickers, including a "Rawlings" tag, a warning label and an "Authentic Collection" tag with an MLB logo. The interior rear padding has "Rawlings S100 Pro Comp" stamped into it with "7 5/8" below. There is an MLB Authentication hologram sticker near the interior crown.

Bio/Historical NoteBatting helmet worn by Joe Mauer of the Minnesota Twins on April 12, 2018 against the Chicago White Sox at Target Field. His second hit of the game, a 2-run single in the 7th inning, was his 2,000th career hit.
