DescriptionBlack waffle-weave cap with a red button at the top crown. "Japan" is embroidered in red and white across the front. Proper left side has a red and white embroidered Japanese flag. Rear center has an embroidered World Baseball Classic logo. Underside of the bill is black and edged with red. There is an MLB Authentication hologram sticker on the underside of the bill. Interior black mesh sweatband has a manufacturer label in the rear center with another tag having Japanese lettering and "5.75."

Bio/Historical NoteCap worn by Team Japan pitcher Hisashi Iwakuma during the 2009 World Baseball Classic. Iwakuma was the starting pitcher for Japan in the championship game against Korea. Japan defeated South Korea to win their second straight Classic, 5-3 in 10 innings.
