DescriptionYellow and black cap with a team logo embroidered on the front in black. Both the bill and the button at the top crown are black. Underside of the bill is green. Interior white cotton sweatband has two manufacturer labels, including "New Era" and an illegible sizing tag. "28" is handwritten in black ink on the interior front proper right panel.
Bio/Historical NoteCap worn by Steve Blass of the Pittsburgh Pirates as he started Game 7 of the 1971 World Series on October 17, 1971. The Pittsburgh Pirates would beat the Baltimore Orioles 2-1, winning the World Series 4 games to 3.
