Stephen Drew World Series glove

DescriptionBrown leather left-handed fielder's glove with four finger stalls and a thumb stall. The finger stalls are connected by a lace that runs through the tips of the stalls. The finger stalls and thumb stall are connected by five strips of leather, three horizontal and two vertical, which makes up the webbing. The glove has a wrist strap with holes and lacing for size adjustment. The wrist strap has a red, black and white "Rawlings" patch sewn in. There are stamps throughout the back side including "Drew," a red and white "R," "Rawlings," "The Gold Glove Co." and "(??)BL29." The palm side also has stamps including "PRODJ," "11 1/2," "For the Professional Player," "Rawlings," "U.S Steerhide" and a few more that are unreadable. The interior of the glove has a branding stamp, "Deer Tanned Cowhide."

Bio/Historical NoteGlove used by shortstop Stephen Drew of the Boston Red Sox during the 2013 World Series from October 23rd to October 30th. The Red Sox defeated the St. Louis Cardinals, 4-2.
