DescriptionNavy blue plastic batting helmet, size 7 1/2, with a red bill and a white "A" decal adhered on the front. Top of the helmet has ventilation holes running from the front to the back. There is a proper right ear protector with ventilation holes. Rear of the helmet has an MLB logo along with a white "5" adhered to the right of the logo. Interior of the helmet has a black coating along with padding at the rear center, top crown and along the sweatband. "7 1/2" is handwritten in white marker on the interior top crown along with a silver sticker with black lettering reading "7 1/2." Top crown pad has a gold stamp, "Rawlings / 100 MPH / Performance Rating." There are two patches sewn into the sweatband, "Rawlings" and "Authentic Collection / On-Field Equipment." The back pad has "Rawlings S100 Pro Comp" and "7 1/2" stamped into it.
Bio/Historical NoteHelmet worn by first baseman Freddie Freeman on June 15, 2016 when he hit for the cycle in a 13-inning game against the Cincinnati Reds at Turner Field. It was the first cycle of the 2016 season. This is the final season for the Braves at Turner Field before the stadium is turned into a football stadium.
