Carlos Gomez helmet

DescriptionRed plastic batting helmet, size 7 1/4, with a proper left ear protector, a rubber white and blue "T" logo stuck on the front and an MLB logo and "14" stuck on the rear exterior. There are six ventilation holes at the top of the helmet. Interior of the helmet has padding along the sweatband, top crown, along the proper left ear guard and at the rear center. On the interior of the helmet are several labels, including a sizing sticker, a "Rawlings" tag, a warning label and an "Authentic Collection" tag with an MLB logo. Interior rear center padding has "Rawlings S100 Pro Comp" stamped into it with "7 1/4" below. There is an MLB Authentication hologram sticker on the interior proper left side.
Bio/Historical NoteBatting helmet worn by Carlos Gomez, outfield for the Texas Rangers, when he hit for the cycle on April 29, 2017 against the visiting Los Angeles Angels at Globe Life Park in Arlington, Texas. It was Gomez's second career cycle. It was the first time since 2009, and the second time in MLB history, that three MLB players hit for the cycle in the month of April.
