Scott Rolen Gold Glove award

DescriptionGold painted leather third baseman's glove mounted to a metal rod inserted into the interior of the glove. The glove has four finger stalls and a thumb stall. The forefinger and thumb are connected by a woven section of lacing. The leather laces connect the tips of the finger stalls. Palm side of the glove has "Gold/Glove/Award," "For the Professional Player," "Basket-Weave," and "Rawlings" with the logo below. Back side of the glove features a black patch sewn along the pinky stall reading "Gold Glove Co." and a large manufacturer label at the base of the remaining finger stalls. Two baseballs are mounted on either side of the glove on the base of the award. Placard on the top of the base features an etching of Rolen above a Rawlings manufacturers label. Around the end of the plate is a god placard reading "2010 Rawlings Gold Glove Award/Presented to/Scott Rolen/Honoring his selection as the finest in the field."
