Lee Smith glove

DescriptionBlack leather left-handed fielder's glove with four finger stalls and a thumb stall connected by basket-weave webbing. The finger stalls are connected at the tips with leather laces. The palm side heel of the glove is lined with leather laces looped through holes. Palm side of the glove has several gold stamps, including "Pro 2-BF-8," For the Professional Player," "Rawlings," and "Basket-Web" at the top edge of the webbing. Leather laces line the palm side of the thumb stall, pinky stall, heel, and around the lower edge of the webbing. Back side of the glove has an oval-shaped opening at the base of the forefinger stall which is lined with leather laces. Directly above this hole is "Fastback Model / Holdster" stamped in gold lettering. To the left of this hole is a red, white, and black manufacturer label. The back side wrist area has a leather strap looped through slots, fastened with a metal D-ring, and can be adjusted for size. At the back side base of the webbing is a circular red and white manufacturer logo. "5EH01" and "Gold Glove Series" are stamped in gold lettering on the back side of the thumb stall. "47 Lee Smith 1991" is handwritten in blue ink faintly to the left of the "Gold Glove Series" stamp on the back side of the thumb stall.
