DescriptionWhite rubber square base with raised triangular pattern on the top along with "Schutt / Original Hollywood Bases / Jack Corbett / Hollywood Bases" with the MLB logo beneath. Sides of base have stickers on each side with the Miami Marlins and Atlanta Braves logos along with a graphic showing the date of the game, Fort Bragg and MLB, Marlins and Braves logos within a yellow circle. Underside of base has duct tape on one side reading "Point to 2nd" with two arrows. Also has two circles with numbers, dating July 2015. Made in China in one corner. There are three holes on each side for mounting into ground. MLB Authentication hologram sticker in one corner.
Bio/Historical NoteFirst base used in the 1st through 3rd innings during the Miami Marlins vs. Atlanta Braves game at Fort Bragg on July 3, 2016. According to MLB, this was the first professional game of any sport to be played on an active military base and the first ever regular season major league game in North Carolina.
