Okidata SportsTicker telecommunications printer

Datebetween 1995 and 2005
DescriptionSmall yellowed plastic box with six buttons on the front and nine lights. A scroll of printer paper can be placed in a stand above the back side of the ticker that feeds down into the machine and comes up over a typewriter roll with data printed on it. A large metal frame helps feed the printed paper up and over the scroll in the back. There is a switch to loose the tightness of the feed of paper, and a knob to turn the roll by hand. On the back is a wire that would have been connected to a cable to receive data, and attached is a black power cord. The scroll has pre-printed data on it from 2005, including several baseball games in May, LPGA results, and more.
