Albert Pujols World Series shoes

DescriptionRed leather shoes, size 12 1/2, with gray laces and navy blue manufacturer logos on both the inner and outer sides. Outer sides also have "WWJD" embroidered in gray towards the bottom center. There is light gray detailing around the ankles, heels and bottom sole edges. Interiors have attached nylon inner socks. Base of the laces have "Nike" in light gray lettering. Tongues are covered with red perforated nylon and have a red fabric loop at the top with "Diajse" in gray lettering. Heels have a red loop at the top with "Pujols" in gray lettering and "5" embroidered in gray below with an outline of a batter in navy blue embroidery. Bottoms of the heels have MLB Authentication hologram stickers on the gray rubber portions. Bottom soles are white rubber with 12 rubber cleats and red manufacturer logos in the center.

Bio/Historical NoteShoes worn by Albert Pujols of the St. Louis Cardinals during Game 3 of the 2011 World Series which was played on October 22, 2011 at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, TX. Pujols recorded three home runs in the Cardinals 16-7 Game 3 win over the Texas Rangers. The Cardinals defeated the Texas Rangers four games to three to win the 2011 World Series.
