DescriptionRed plastic batting helmet with a proper right ear protector and a red, silver and navy blue logo sticker on the front showing an "A" with a halo at the top. Rear has an MLB logo with "17" in red and white stickers above. There are six ventilation holes at the top of the helmet and two on the proper right ear guard. The interior of the helmet has padding along the sweatband, along the proper right ear guard, and at the back of the head. There is soft, felted, off-white padding on the top of the crown as well. Interior of the helmet has two manufacturer labels, "Rawlings" and "MLB Authentic On-Field Equipment." There is also a safety sticker near the front and an MLB Authentication hologram sticker inside the helmet.

Bio/Historical NoteBatting helmet worn by Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim during the 2018 season. Ohtani played for the Angels as a pitcher and as a designated hitter, making both debuts within days of each other.
