Shohei Ohtani shin guard

DescriptionWhite rectangular stiff plastic-reinforced polyester shin guard with a smaller red rectangle in the center where the shin would be placed with a manufacturers logo and an embroidered "SO." There are two red plastic buckles on either side of the red section to wrap around the leg. At the bottom of the white rectangle is another oblong red section, hemmed with white polyester that is also reinforced with plastic. Its seams allow greater movement as this part wraps around the ankle with red buckles attached to either side to hold it in place. The reverse of both of these pieces are black mesh. There is an "Asics" tag on the inside of the white section.

Bio/Historical NoteShin guard worn by Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim during the 2018 season. Ohtani played for the Angels as a pitcher and as a designated hitter, making both debuts within days of each other.
