New York Yankees Souvenir beret

DescriptionNavy blue polyester fleece beret-style hat with red trim around the lower edge. There is a black elastic drawstring within the red lower edge which emerges at the back of the beret in a loop with a clear plastic mechanism for tightening the lower edge of the beret around the wearer's head. "New York Yankees" is embroidered in white with a small embroidered American flag on either side. "NYC Health" is embroidered in white at the rear center. The interior upper crown is lined in navy blue fabric. There is a small black tag on the interior seam with care instructions.
Bio/Historical NoteSouvenir beret giveaway distributed to fans who attended the September 11, 2002 game between the New York Yankees and the Baltimore Orioles at Yankee Stadium. The beret commemorated the one year anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks.
