DescriptionRectangular wooden plaque, horizontally oriented, with a laminated certificate on the front reading "The Atlanta Chapter / Baseball Writer's Association of America / presents the / Brave of the Year Award / to / Hank Aaron / for general excellent of performance throughout the season, above and / beyond that sustained by any other player of the Atlanta Braves, for / effort and achievement truly worthy of All-Star Recognition." in red, black and blue lettering. There is a BBWAA logo in the lower left corner and three signatures and titles in the lower right corner. There is a team logo in the background of the certificate. Back side of the plaque has a manufacturer sticker in the lower right corner along with a vertical cord towards the top center for hanging.
