DescriptionA black-and-white negative of Bob Allison dressed in a Washington Senators home uniform kneeling in the grass between the infield and the backstop wall. His left arm is resting on his bent knee and his right arm is extended down holding a Louisville Slugger bat resting on his leg and the grass. He is looking beyond the camera (not shown), straight ahead. There is a "Mr. Senator" patch is on his left sleeve. Behind him is a blurry, empty, and dark stadium. Based on Bob Allison's time with the Washington Senators and the uniform style, this image was taken in either 1959 or 1960.
