DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Bob Feller with teammates Lou Boudreau and Ken Keltner. Feller, shown from the waist up, stands closest to camera wearing a Cleveland Indians home jersey. Feller with his hands by his sides and his body angled away from the camera looks in towards his teammates smiling. As indicated by the included background, this photo was taken in a locker room. Pasted on the reverse (not shown), typed in black ink, is a clipping of the original newspaper caption that reads, "JUBILANT INDIANS: In the locker room after Cleveland defeated the Red Sox to tie for the league lead are Bob Feller (left), who hurled the victory; Lou Boudreau (center), player-manager, and Ken Keltner, whose home run won the game." Stamped on the reverse (not shown) in red ink is the date "SEP 24 1948," the publication date of this image.
