DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Bob Feller with Cleveland Indians teammate and fellow pitcher Don Lemon. Feller, facing the camera, is shown from the chest up while wearing a nylon jacket underneath a Cleveland Indians home uniform. Feller smiles downwards looking at the right arm of Lemon that he holds up with his left hand. A shirtless Lemon holds a baseball in his right hand and looks forward in profile. The background of the photo has been darkened for publication and is not original to the image. Pasted on the reverse (not shown), typed in black ink, is a newspaper clipping of the original caption that reads, HIGH-PRICED ARM: Bob Feller inspects American League's highest priced pitching arm belonging to Cleveland teammate Bob Lemon. Stamped in purple ink on the reverse (not shown) is the date,MAR 4 1951. The probable publication date of this photo.
