Bonnie, Fox's older daughter is sitting on Fox's left side and is snuggling with a puppy. Fox's younger daughter, Tracy is holding a baby doll and eating a lollipop. The caption on the back of the photograph (not shown) states, "A terror to opposing teams during the baseball season, Chicago White Sox star Nellie Fox likes to spend the off-season close to his family in St. Thomas, PA. Here, Nellie relaxes at home with wife Joanne and their daughters, Bonnie, 11, and Tracy, 3. Fox was voted the American League's Most Valuable Player in 1959...12/5/59." This photograph was taken in December 1959.
