DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Nellie Fox captured kneeling on the floor as he changes the diaper of his daughter, Tracy, on a bed. He is looking down at her while fastening her safety pin. The caption on the reverse of the photograph (not shown) states, "Diapering his two-month-old daughter, Tracy, is just one of the two off-season jobs that Chicago second baseman Nelson Fox has taken on this winter in his home town of Chambersburg, PA. Nellie's other job also has to do with pins --- for he's become the proprietor of a local bowling alley. Bowling pins or safety pins --- the White Sox star loves both. 1-20-57." Based on the caption this photograph was taken in January, 1957.
