DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of a workman painting a sign for the Kansas City Athletics spring training camp in 1964. The caption below the photograph reads: "No Problems at Winter Home--While American League owners were meeting in Boston today to decide what to do about the Athletics squabble over the Municipal stadium lease in Kansas City, a lone workman, Hubert Brunner, touches up fence around the spring training camp in Bradenton today. The A's are scheduled to hold their first spring training drills at their winter quarters next Friday." A newspaper clipping on the back provides an additional caption: "The A's have a home away from home in Bradenton, Fla., for spring training. But as for their home at home . . ."
