DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Richie Ashburn of the New York Mets congratulating his teammate, Choo-Choo Coleman. Chris Cannizarro, also in the photo, is to Coleman's right. A caption running along the right side of the photograph reads: "Clarence (Choo-Choo) Coleman (center) is congratulated by Richie Ashburn after hitting a pinch, two-run homer in the eighth inning against the Cardinals. Coleman's belt scored Chris Cannizarro, right. Ashburn wound up scoring the winning run in the ninth as the Mets gainst their fir[st] [v]ictory, 4-3." A second caption, found on the back of the photo reads, "Mets' Richie Ashburn congratulates Clarence "Choo-Choo" Coleman, whose two-run pinch homer score the Mets' first runs against major league competition. Chris Cannizarro (right) was on base when Coleman connected."
