DescriptionA black-and-white, full length photograph of Frankie Frisch, dressed in a St. Louis Cardinals road uniform, batting. He is captured having just completed a swing, the bat just above his right shoulder with his body twisted to the right. Based on his location on the field, this is probably a practice swing. An unidentified stadium is in the background. Based on the styling of the uniform, Frisch's time with the Cardinals, and a date stamp on the reverse of the image (not shown), this photograph was taken in either 1928 or 1929. This photograph was conserved with newspaper markings removed. The cleaned up version of the image and the original version before conservation can be seen.
