DescriptionA black-and-white half-length photograph of Willie Keeler fielding. Keeler, shown in profile, wears most probably a Brooklyn Superbas uniform. Keeler extends both hands in front of his body chest height, he wears a glove on his right hand. Leaning forward, Keeler directs his gaze to a point in the distance and to the left of the camera. The background is not original and several areas of his uniform have been modified to appear more legible upon publication. Handwritten notes are also visible. Based on the specific design of the uniform worn by Keeler, this image was taken around 1900.
