DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Mel Ott of the New York Giants captured as he lightly jogs to home plate after hitting a homerun. A newspaper caption is affixed to the back of the photograph (not shown) and states, "Mel Ott, Giant outfielder, hit a home run in the first inning of today's New York-Boston game.
