The caption (not shown) reads "Babe Ruth sits in his new car chatting with a group of youngsters in front of his home before leaving for the 'Babe Ruth Day' ceremonies at Yankee Stadium, New York, April 27. The car, a Lincoln, bearing his initials on the door, is a gift of the Ford Motor Company which is sponsoring the American Legion Junior Baseball program with the Babe as its representative."
