DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Babe Ruth signing autographs on a couch. The caption reads "When Ruth signed his 1934 Yankee contract he did so with a flourish that indicated he had plenty of practice in signing his name. He is shown here signing a batch of baseballs to be awarded to members of his newly formed Babe Ruth Boys Club each week. The Home Run King is now on the air three times a week in the interests of clean, wholesome sport and has recruited an army of youthful followers into his Babe Ruth Boys Club." There are two unidentified boys, probably from the Boys Club, that are wearing suits and holding baseballs. There is a large pile of boxes that held each ball in front of Ruth.
