DescriptionA black-and-white photograph, from left to right, of Ed Barrow, Connie Mack, Del Webb and Will Harridge captured standing on the baseball field at Yankee Stadium on August 21, 1949 as Mack received a plaque honoring his accomplishment as being a manager in the American League for fifty years. All of the gentlemen are dressed in suits. Mack has a smile on his face and is holding the plaque up with Harridge. The plaque features a section shaped like a baseball that has engraving on it. An unidentified man is visible looking over Mack's shoulder. Yankee stadium is visible in the background. The date of this photograph is based on other images taken during this event.
