Mack has a small smile on his face. He is dressed in a suit. Yankee Stadium is visible in the background and numerous fans are visible in the stadium seating. Members of the Philadelphia Athletics baseball team is visible standing in the dugout. A newspaper clipping is affixed to the back of the photograph (not shown) (not shown) and states, "Connie Mack, 86-year-old owner-manager of the Philadelphia A's, steps from the visitors' dugout at Yankee Stadium, Aug. 21, to be honored on 'Connie Mack Day.' An 'old-timer' game preceded the regular contest between the A's and Yankees." The creation date of the photograph is based on the included caption.
