DescriptionA black-and-white negative of Gene Moore captured in profile at bat. Moore is completing his swing. Moore's feet are in a wide stance. He is dressed in a Brooklyn Dodgers home uniform and the number 31 is visible on the back of his uniform. An unidentified photographer is captured squatting down on the field. Ebbets Field is in the background and the stands are completely filled with fans. Based on Moore's uniform and his time with the Dodgers, this negative was probably taken in 1940.
