Reggie Jackson 500th Career Home Run helmet

DescriptionNavy blue plastic batting helmet, size 7 1/4, with a painted red bill. There is a red "A" with a yellow halo at the front center. There is black label tape on the top of the bill, "JAX 44." Rear center of the helmet has black label tape, "JAX 44," on top of an "ABC" logo. Top crown has a white circular sticker along with two ventilation holes. Interior has a circular high density foam pad at the top crown. Interior sweatband is a continuous leather-coated foam pad. There is additional foam padding on the sides underneath the sweatband. Interior front crown has manufacturer and sizing stickers along with a white "Pro-Celd" sticker. Underside of the bill has product and patent information in raised lettering.
Bio/Historical NoteCalifornia Angels designated hitter Reggie Jackson wore this helmet when he clouted his 500th career home run on September 17, 1984 at Anaheim Stadium off Bud Black of the Kansas City Royals, exactly 17 years after he hit his first big league home run.
