DescriptionBlack leather and nylon shoes, size 9 1/2, with red detailing on both inner and outer sides. There are black manufacturer logos on this red detailing on both sides. Outer side red detailing of the right shoe has been signed "4192 / Pete Rose" in black ink. Inner side of the left shoe has also been signed in black ink on the red detailing. Each shoe has black laces. Oversize tongue flaps have navy blue, red and gold manufacturer labels, "Mizuno." Heel guards have "Mizuno" in white lettering at the top and Rickey Henderson facsimile signatures beneath. Bottom soles are white plastic with six metal spikes and plastic cleats. Insole of left shoe has manufacturer information with "14" handwritten in black ink.

Bio/Historical NoteShoes worn by Pete Rose of the Cincinnati Reds on September 11, 1985 for his 4,192nd career hit, breaking Ty Cobb's record. The Reds defeated the San Diego Padres 2-0.
